About us
Students at Atheneum College Hageveld are taught in a 1923 monument designed by architect Jan Stuyt, who also designed the Heemstede Town Hall. He drew inspiration for the design of Hageveld, a former seminary, from St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.
In 2001, the school was renovated and expanded to meet all the requirements for modern day education. Among other things, it features a large laboratory, a lecture hall, and a gymnasium with a climbing wall. A comprehensive overview of our history can be found in our school guide (https://www.hageveld.nl/Schoolgids (note: this schoolguide is in Dutch)
